Welcome to Chasing Connections

Chayse Wachtel, a suburban New York native, began her journey in childcare at the age of 17.  While working as a babysitter and nanny for families both at home and on vacations she gained the experience of what it takes to be a care professional. In her 20's she began working as a chaperone for young riders during the winter horse shows in Wellington, earning the trust of parents by ensuring their children’s safety around the clock.  As a caregiver and rider herself, she had a unique understanding of the equine industry and the knowledge and commitment it took to provide peace of mind for parents and give them the support they need for their children.

 

In 2015 Chayse founded Saddle Sitters, a concierge childcare service that handpicked the best caretakers that would offer a nurturing environment for child riders or children of competitive riders. Chayse paused her business during the COVID pandemic and used the time off to start her own family. 

 

Chayse is now ready to embark on a new chapter with Chasing Connections, expanding her recruitment and staffing prowess beyond child care. The company goal is to connect individuals and families to candidates with the perfect job placement in the childcare, eldercare, personal assistance, personal grooming and entertaining areas.  Chasing Connections also helps professionals

in these areas find their dream jobs.
